Marketing Analyst

We are seeking someone with a passion for data and marketing, and turning information into insights to help us make informed marketing decisions. Under the direction of the Senior Director of Acquisition, this person will work closely with the various members of the marketing team (including Acquisition, Retention and Brand) and 3rd party agencies to analyze, report on, and deliver insights from marketing campaigns that drive our customer growth. The ideal candidate is a motivated team player, high performer with keen analytical and data skills, marketing instincts and attention to detail.  We’re looking for someone with a sense of curiosity, a love of numbers and data, and the ability to find hidden insights that drive impactful marketing decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform analyses and reporting on marketing campaigns across online and offline channels
  • Extract, combine and analyze data to produce actionable insights to help optimize customer acquisition and retention efforts throughout the conversion funnel
  • Develop benchmarks and regular reporting dashboards across marketing channels to optimize channel ROI and customer LTV
  • Leverage story-telling skills to deliver key insights to the marketing team and the rest of the company that are clear, concise and actionable
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally on the day-to-day execution of analytics projects & initiatives
  • Assist with planning and execution of marketing initiatives, both online and offline

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a concentration in marketing, advertising, statistics or mathematics
  • 1-3 years of professional working experience in marketing or related field
  • Experience with major online marketing platforms (Adwords, Facebook) and analytics platforms (i.e. Google Analytics) a plus
  • Exceptional problem solving and quantitative skills, including advanced Excel ability
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail & accuracy
  • Proficiency in SQL and a working knowledge of BI and dashboard tools (i.e. Tableau) a big plus
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems; Seeking candidates who are innovative and resourceful
  • Very well organized and able to multi-task and work across multiple projects at once
