Brand Manager

We are seeking someone with a passion for brand building and a great sense of team spirit who is seeking an opportunity to lead brand and marketing efforts, and be a long term contributor to the Tommy John team. Under the direction of the Director of Brand, this person will help grow the brand through an exciting and explosive time of growth. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong project management background, a highly motivated self starter who has great communication and interpersonal skills, and is eager to learn in thriving, fast-packed environment.


  • Be a passionate guardian of the brand; Partner with Director of Brand to execute agreed upon brand strategy for Tommy John campaigns and product launches
  • Lead brand campaigns for key sales / seasonal moments from brief through to execution, measurement and post production; Write creative briefs, feedback and manage creative timelines
  • Oversee and QA all creative output for (international and domestic) ensuring brand integrity and continuity
  • Oversee development and management of seasonal priority brand marketing needs and ongoing content calendar needs
  • Lead competitive analysis and regular share outs with the brand and merchandise teams
  • Develop deep understanding of current Tommy John customers & future customers and work closely with BI team to continue to refine customer surveys
  • Work closely with Sr. PR Manager to develop and execute successful branded events
  • Lead brand partnerships, executing integrated marketing plans to support and promote to consumers and the press
  • Partner with Social Media Manager and Sr Producer to ensure that all content needs are accounted for and captured on brand photo and video shoots
  • Work cross-functionally, particularly with the Merchandising team, maximizing effort and budget on all photo and video shoots
  • Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, foster innovation, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity
  • Maintain positive work environment with high creative standards


  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of advertising or marketing experience - Agency or CPG background preferred
  • Strong project-management background w/ demonstrated track record of managing projects and delivering on a variety of requests in a timely and organized manner
  • Experience with Keynote and/or PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven track record communicating with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated with the ability to learn and adjust quickly to business needs and growth challenges in a fast-paced organization
  • Passion for creativity, brand development and problem solving
