POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sr Accounting Manager will serve as a key member of the Finance team and act as a business partner to all relevant cross-functional departments across the organization. This role will balance hands-on execution with strategic vision to oversee all accounting functions for the Tommy John business. This role will report directly to the VP, Finance & Operations and will partner with all relevant functional leaders.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the monthly close process to generate accurate P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow projections, including all related periodic reconciliations.
  • Lead all financial reporting efforts and provide variance analysis to budgets and forecasts.
  • Lead expense management initiatives by partnering with internal departments to identify and implement optimization opportunities.
  • Assist with the annual budget and periodic forecast process.
  • Prepare periodic materials to present to the Company’s Board of Directors, banks, and other external groups.
  • Perform ad-hoc projects for executive team and senior leaders on an as-needed basis.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE
  • 8-10 years of experience in USGAAP Accounting
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • NetSuite experience essential
  • Omni-channel (DTC, Retail, and Wholesale) experience
  • Proven leadership ability, as well as strength in building internal partnerships
  • Strong quantitative, analytical skills with attention-to-detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication, critical-thinking, and presentation skills; including the ability to provide written and verbal direction effectively
  • Organized with an ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines
  • Strong project management skills, from initial idea through execution
Pay Range: $120,000 - $130,000 annually
